In with a heavy cake

After seeing Lost in Translation again last night I realised that it is - in fact - one of the best films ever made, and thus gets 2 out of a possible 2: It's the best film ever made..

As such it's pushed out M*A*S*H to make my top 5.

.. and yes, I have no new news or new pictures, so stop asking.

Holiday!

Decided on a 'proper' holiday in the end: none of that sight-seeing gubbins, just pure relaxation.
 
Read many books. Flew many kites. Drank much wine.

Imporant information you should take from our holiday:

• Kites are cool!  See here for all you kiting needs. Alternatively visit The Kite Shop in Penzance.


• Climbing is fun!  If you're in Cornwall and you fancy some climbing action I can't recommend Annie enough. She taught us a lot about climbing, and didn't laugh when my foot cramped up the instant it touched the first foothold of the day!


• If you're within 100 miles of this you owe it to yourself to go. Bring plenty of warm clothes, a picnic, and some gin.

Van's been flaky, but it's got us places.
