This photo is the product of Lord of the Rings style camera trickery, but in reverse. To create this shot the left-most person is actually standing very close to the camera, and the right-most person is standing very far away. As such, we all look in proportion. Imagine Frodo standing next to Aragorn standing next to a cave troll and you get some insight into the true dimensions involved.
